Secret Paradise Resort & Turtle Sanctuary is the only official turtle sanctuary endorsed by the Philippine Government (DENR) and WWF-Philippines, situated between Port Barton's Marine Park and Sabang's world famous Puerto Princesa Subterranean Underground River National Park. Between Oct - March you can see turtles laying eggs on the resort's four beautiful, secluded beaches and from.December - end of April enjoy witnessing baby turtles hatching.
STAY
The resort offers eight accommodation options all with air-conditioning, hot water shower, mini bar, safety deposit box, and private balcony. Six cottages are detached beach front and two superior rooms overlook Sunset beach and Turtle bay. All superior cottages and rooms have LED satellite TV/ DVD. All cottages ar beach front with indigenous inspired design, but with modern comforts.
PLAY
The resort's marine sanctuary and house reef, Turtle Bay, has been protected for 10 years making snorkelling and diving an incredible experience for martine life and turtles. Choose from any of the resort's four private beaches and waterfalls or explore further on the island's hiking trails or kayaki along its coastline. At the resort you can enjoy beach volleyball, badminton, campfires, traditional song and dance, or the native sauna and massage treatment.
SUSTAIN
The resort has released over 7000 hawksbill and green baby turtles back into the sea through its conservation and marine sanctuary programme, which has been protecting local marine life for 10 years with WWF. Electricity for power from a generator is limited to certain hours each day and the resort has a carbon neautral operation.
