A luxury eco-resort located on Nikoi Island, a private island surrounded by beautiful beaches and coral reefs

PREVIEW

Nikoi Island combines the luxury of a world-class resort with the privacy of a private island off the east coast of Bintan Island just south of Singapore. With a limited guest capacity, Nikoi ensures that each guest has incredible and fully-customized adventures on land or on the water. White-sand beaches, jaw-dropping coral reefs, and even a rainforest are all located on the island and are maintained and protected to be enjoyed by guests for years to come. See our resort profile for "Cempedak Island" to view a similar eco-resort by the same owners!

STAY

Nikoi Island has a number of one, two, and three-bedroom guesthouses over a five-hectare section of the island. Each guesthouse comes with a fan, comfortable lounging areas, mosquito-netted luxury beds, and an ensuite bathroom with hot water. There are two restaurants at the resort, but guests can also opt for a meal on the beach or on a private balcony. There is also a tented spa area for guests to relax with a massage, facial, or body scrub.

PLAY

The resort offers multiple options for fun on land including trekking, rock-climbing, beach volleyball, and even tennis. To truly enjoy Nikoi Island, guests are encouraged to explore the stunning waters through snorkeling, paddleboarding, sailing, and diving for guests with a previous certification. Children will also have a blast with staff-run nature hikes, craft workshops, and pirate treasure hunts, ensuring that guests of all ages have a good time on the island.

SUSTAIN

The structures and furniture on Nikoi Island are primarily built from found driftwood that had landed on the beaches of nearby islands. Additionally, all of the structures were built with minimal man-made materials and to be naturally ventilated so as to reduce the impact of plastics, concrete, and air-conditioners. The resort has also sectioned off a large portion of the island as a rainforest sanctuary that acts as a home to many species of tropical birds. Nikoi Island also buys and hires locally and has launched the Island Foundation to help support and educate local communities.
