Titiru, which literally means "Guardian Spirit", is an eco-lodge created by a local born in the village of Ugele. The lodge offers cultural and traditional immersion, located in a botanical reserve and a marine protected area where its fauna and flora can be enjoyed.
Titiru offers accommodation in well-built traditionally designed bungalows in the garden, seafront and overwater, suited for couples, family and individuals.
The lodge offers an atmopshere of relaxation and opportunities to be more active, including bird wacthing, exploring the mangrove waters in a dug out canoe, diving and snorkeling in nearby reefs, fishing, board games, village experience tours, volleyball, forest walks, plus volunteer opportunities.
Titiru has a solar power system for its energy supply. The lodge is active in mangrove plantation efforts, plus, supports local villages. The lodge invites guest to contribute to local environmental and social volunteer efforts, including coral and mangrove planting.
