IS SIPADAN THE BEST PLACE TO DIVE ON EARTH?

Sipadan Island off the coast of Malaysian Borneo is so jaw dropping, you'll be in danger of losing your regulator. But what makes it one of the top dive sites on earth?

PREVIEW

The resort is surrounded by jungle on the fringes of a secluded beach, located in the Johor Marine Park. The resort's house reef offers ample access to super snorkeling excursions, in addition, to dive trips further out to sea. The resort is family friendly with a kid lounge, activities and menus. The beach location offers a stunning vista across the water with a back drop of the Pulau Tinggi volcano and moonrises.

STAY

The resort's traditional Malay chalets are built on stilts with windows on three sides and a large overhead fan. All chalets have a bathroom en suite with toilet, sink, over head shower, foot tap, good lighting and drinkable water. Each one has its own private sea facing veranda. Family chalets are also available for those wishing to share their island experience with their children.

PLAY

The resort includes a PADI certified dive centre, making it a great destination for novices and experienced divers alike. There are lots of activities in addition to diving and snorkeling, including excursions to visit local communities and trekking adventures, while the resort's large shady grounds make it a great playground, bocce pitch, volley ball court, and Frisbee area. Boogie boards are provided to catch some surf to celebrate your recently completed PADI dive course!

SUSTAIN

The resort is involved in the protection and sustainable use of the marine park, rejuvinating areas and engaging in education and research acitivities with schools. The resort frequently plants trees and obtains its water from a mineral spring.
