We are looking for an individual to source, curate and maintain content for the Coral Triangle Communications Platform (CTCP), a multistrand online interface featuring broad canvas content relating to the Coral Triangle bioregion, the most biodiverse marine ecosystem on the planet.
The editor will be required to learn about the Coral Triangle, the issues and threats it faces, the diverse peoples and places that are found within its borders and the individuals and organizations that work within it.
The editor will work alongside the project managers in establishing medium and long term editorial plans based around key dates in the Coral Triangle calendar as well as editorial priorities established in conjunction with the project managers and the CTCP Advisory Board.
The editor will be required to source relevant content (video, text, photography etc) from existing channels as well as establishing new content sharing relationships with relevant individuals and organizations including prominent media brands, partner N.G.O’s and multilaterals and private businesses.
The editor will also work alongside an intern to actively promote thecoraltriangle.com’s web presence via social media seeding on websites such as facebook and twitter and will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of excellence for all CTCP media output.
