Are you a journalist from one of the six Coral Triangle countries? Are you passionate about the ocean? To celebrate the 3rd Coral Triangle Regional Business Forum, we're running a Journalist Writing Competition focusing on blue economies. The subject is one of the most pressing issues facing the Coral Triangle at the moment: "Creating blue economies for business profitability and environmental sustainability in the Coral Triangle." It's a big subject, but you can tackle it any way you like. Winning entry will receive USD300; Second Place - USD200; and Third Place - USD100.
Terms & Conditions:
1. The competition is open to journalists from the 6 Coral Triangle countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Solomon Islands, and Timor Leste.
2. Entries should revolve around the theme: “Creating a Blue Economy for business profitability and environmental sustainability in the Coral Triangle”
3. Entries should be published in any print or online publication by 10th March 2013
4. Published article should be submitted via email to [email protected] or [email protected] with subject: JWC_[name]_[title of article]_[name of media], no later than 10 March 2013
4. One journalist can submit more than one article
5. Winners will be determined by a selected panel of judges
