This 360 degree Infographic image was created by the Catlin Seaview Survey, using state of the art underwater imaging technology. The Catlin Seaview Survey is a global programme to create a baseline record of the world’s coral reefs. It’s a project which will help scientists, policy-makers and anyone simply curious about our oceans, to understand the issues faced by reef ecosystems.
After working in the Caribbean and Great Barrier Reef, the team has arrived in the Coral Triangle in 2014 and is undertaking a series of expeditions across the region. Check out more of their beautiful underwater tableaux here and follow the team at www.catlinseaviewsurvey.com or at Google+
